How to Get Dog Hair Out of Carpet
This little room re-do has been totally in the spirit of “just for now” so I can enjoy it and not pull my hair out while I’m waiting for us to be able to do some of the more major renos we’d like to do eventually.
Ones that aren’t just a temporary solution..So that’s what I’ve promised myself to make sure I’m working on first.
Those things that won’t (probably) lead to my eventual insanity. And won’t take away from our roof fund until we know how much that’s actually going to cost..Pulling up the peel and stick tile from the front hall.. And that yard.
So for now, that corner of Kennedy’s room is at least tidy and I’m about to really roll up my sleeves.I found these great pillowcases at the dollar store the other day. They were in a pack of 2 for just $2.
I didn’t know what I would do with them, but of course I found something within about 26 hours.
Actually I found a few somethings.Since this is supposed to be my dream kitchen, I’m leaning towards getting some professionals in to do the big jobs really well, and that of course comes with a price tag.
Since that’s not going to be happening any time soon, I’ve found some ways to make myself feel more at home in this kitchen that is so not me..The first thing that we did was bring in this big farmhouse table that seats 8-10 easily.
In the kitchen of my dreams, there would be a big table, just like this with black Windsor chairs right in the middle of the room instead of the islands that most kitchens have these days. When my parents suggested that this might make a nice Christmas gift last year, I jumped on it and got the table of my dreams instead of a “good for now” kinda table.
